Minden technika rejt magában valami érdekességet, megtanulni egy új öltést és kreatívan felhasználni, új formában látni számomra érdekfeszítő folyamat.
Do you have favourit embroidery techniques? I do have a lot. You probably know me more as a cross stitcher from this blog but I really like other techniques too and like to try new varieties of stitches. Every technique has some interesting part, to learn a new stitch and to creatively use it, create a new shape with it is for me a exciting process.
Egy új sorozatot indítok ezzel kapcsolatban. És hogy mifélét? Egy különböző öltéstechnikákat és azok leírásait bemutató tutorial sorozatot. Milyen indíttatásból? Először is azért, mert bár az internet kifogyhatatlan forrás, rengeteg ügyes hímző megosztotta a tudását különböző fórumokon, én néha kissé elveszettnek érzem magam a sok információ miatt. Azt amit megtanultam, szeretném akár kicsit önző módon itt összegezni és mások számára is elérhetővé tenni. De nemcsak magát az öltési technikát mutatnám be, hanem a felhasználási módot is, ezzel beindítani a fantáziátokat, mit lehet az egyes öltéstechnikákból kihozni. Holnap tehát kezdünk, itt találkozunk.
I'd like to start a new series because of this. What kind of a series? One about different embroidery stitch techniques and tutorials how to work with them. And why I do this? First of all becuase the internet is full of endless inspiration and many needleworkers already shared their knowledge with us on different platforms, but I still feel sometimes a bit lost facing all that overhelming information. What I learn I would like to selfishly sum up here and make it available for others too. But I won't share only the how-to of the technique but also share how to use it on a project and give your imagination a push. So you see how you can apply what you've learned.
